2-Please Do Not come early to your appointment.
3- Wash hands immediately upon entry into office.
4- I will be having you sign a waiver, be taking your Temperature, and asking you a brief questionnaire of symptoms before agreeing to conduct your service.
5 - I may be calling to move appointments up or down to accommodate other guests.
6 - I may have to continue to make changes as further information becomes available.  Please refer to my website for the most up-to-date information including a summary of my Sanitation Procedures. (downloadable PDF)

Dear Clients,

I would like to start out by saying how much I miss you all.  In case I haven't told you directly, you all mean a great deal to me.  I love my job. It gives me purpose.  I consider myself lucky to have found work that makes me feel so fulfilled, and none of that is possible without you, my clients. I am looking forward to being able to see you all again soon.

To that end, I have been making plans around my reopening.  I am currently
aiming for June 1st, but am awaiting guidance and permission from the State.  I will be sure to email you all once I know more.

Meanwhile, I have been trying to anticipate expected protocols based on those from other open healthcare businesses as well as CDC guidelines.  I have completed the State VOSHA paperwork, taken online Sanitation seminars, and created my own Standard Operation Plan which is posted on my website if you would like to see the full details.  Below is a quick summary of the changes you are likely to see in the coming weeks.  If you have questions, or would like to recommend some changes, please feel free to email me.  These protocols may continue to evolve in the coming weeks.

  1. If you are ill or have been exposed to a known or suspected infected person I ask that you reschedule your appointment.  I will not enforce my cancellation policy in cases of illness, but please provide as much notice as you can.

  2. I will be wearing a mask for all client interactions.  Clients are not required to, but please feel free to wear one if it makes you more comfortable.

  3. Clients are asked to wash hands immediately upon entering the office.

  4. I request all shoes be removed in the waiting area.

  5. I would like to discourage the use of cash for payment as it passes through so many hands.  Checks are preferred, and I am happy to process Credit Cards. You will be provided a clean pen or stylus whenever necessary.

  6. Although I have always kept the office very clean, I have expanded and increased the frequency of some of my cleaning.  To that end, I have added time to each booking to ensure proper sanitation. I ask that you Do Not come early to your appointment unless you call first.  This will also help lower client-to-client contact.

  7. With the expanded appointment times, I may have to be more actively balancing my schedule.  I may be asking if I can move your appointment up or down in order to make things work. I will keep it to a minimum as I do value your time, but there are many guests asking to get in and I want to make as many appointments available for you as I can.

  8. All House-Call and Chair Massage services are temporarily suspended.

  9. Until Summer Camps are open, my son will often be at work with me.  In these cases, all payments and appointment bookings will be processed in the waiting room. Please let me know in advance if you wish to make a retail purchase.  (I have some great new environmentally safe sunscreen on the way.)

  10. My available hours may be more limited as I work around home-schooling needs.  I appreciate your patience while I try and strike this unique work/life balance.

Finally, you can all look forward to some new available services including Cupping and Hydrating Hand Therapy!!!  Descriptions and prices are on my menu.

Thank you for your continued support,

Rebecca

Hello again,

The responce to my temporary closure announcment has been extremely supportive.  You all have my most sincere appreciation for your understanding.  These are unusual times and we are all doing our best to keep out communities strong.  Thank you.

Several people have responded with inquiries for Gift Certificates.  I very much appreciate the show of support, but I also realise that I am not the only one facing a financial impact here.  Therefore, I have created a Special Discount of 15% off for Gift Certificates purchased during my closure.
